Genealogy Writing SIG Monthly Meeting (15 Jun 2026)

Genealogy Writing SIG Monthly Meeting

Generally held on the 2nd Monday of the month, our SIG meeting is a hybrid of in-person and Zoom meetings.

Are you passionate about genealogy and want to turn your research into compelling stories? The DCAGS Genealogy Writing SIG is here to help! This group focuses on transforming genealogical research into narratives, timelines, case studies, and other engaging formats, creating a lasting legacy for future generations.

Unlike traditional genealogy groups, the Writing SIG emphasizes writing as a craft. It’s not about how to conduct research—it’s about how to share your findings effectively. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced writer, this group provides a supportive environment to develop your skills and preserve your family history.

Date: Monday, June 15, 2026
Time: 09:45 AM Central Time

Whether you're starting your first family story or refining a complex proof argument, the DCAGS Genealogy Writing SIG is a place to grow, connect, and share. We welcome members of all levels to join us in preserving the past through the power of storytelling.

For more details or to join the SIG, contact Bob Rettammel at brettammel@gmail.com.
