About DCAGS

The Dane County Genealogical Society (formerly known as the South Central Chapter of the Wisconsin State Genealogical Society) and the Computer Assisted Genealogists of Southern Wisconsin (formerly known as the South Central Wisconsin PAF Users Group) merged in September of 2006 to form the Dane County Area Genealogical Society.

We’re proud to be an affiliate of the Wisconsin State Genealogical Society and a member of the National Genealogical Society.
