Finding Digitized Newspapers

Mike will discuss:

• The general process of newspaper digitization as a NDNP Project Partner. The Wisconsin Historical Society first became an NDNP Project Partner in 2015 and it appears they're currently on their fourth NDNP cycle / grant.
• The Chronicling America website. The Chronicling America website is owned by the Library of Congress. It is the end-product of the NDNP program, where all of the digitized newspapers from each NDNP project partner are centrally located. Mike will discuss what is available on the website and how to search.
• Other websites that offer freely accessible digitized newspapers
