Every ethnic group has its own unique characteristics when digging into records for genealogical research. Dana Kelly will give a brief overview of what makes Norwegian genealogy different from other immigrant groups in the US.
Dana Kelly serves as Executive Director of the Norwegian American Genealogical Center & Naeseth Library. Dana’s passion for family history led her to a Scandinavian Studies degree from UW-Madison where she learned to speak, read and write Norwegian. She has served on the board of directors for the Koshkonong Prairie Historical Society since 2009, and on the board of directors for the Dane County Area Genealogical Society since 2020.
